A rare opportunity has arisen to own our prestigious Skinner Style organ. Currently residing at the church of St James’, Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, where it has been on loan for 3 years, this beautiful and charismatic instrument is now looking for a new home.
Listen to an audio recording below of the instrument after installation in St James’ Episcopal Church.
We’ve done multiple video recordings of the instrument in Selby Abbey such as the one below with Joseph Nolan performing Thalben-Ball’s Elegy.

An organ with exceptional pedigree
This organ has an exceptional pedigree, owing its construction and principal tonal style to the magnificent Skinner instrument in St Peter’s Morristown, NJ, from which it was lovingly and carefully replicated. For a time it was the flagship instrument of the Regent Classic fleet, demonstrating the quality of our technology in recitals and recordings.
In February 2019, it was flown out at short notice for the Papal Mass in Abu Dhabi, playing to a congregation of 180,000 people at the Zayed Sports Stadium.
A musical gem designed for ergonomic playing
Structured over three keyboards with an additional floating Solo division, this is a musical gem designed for ergonomic playing. It has 65 stops, a full complement of inter-manual couplers, thumb, and toe pistons; and the finest keyboards from German makers UHT.
Our patented Physis technology allows incredible voicing flexibility in the instrument – in addition to its primary Skinner voicing, the organ can have additional setups constructed by our talented voicers to suit your tastes, selectable at the touch of a button.
It can be played through up to 28 external speakers to spread the acoustic load so the sound quality is retained all the way to FFF. To understand the amazing stop routing flexibility look at the video below, which also features the Skinner instrument. In St James’ it was also linked to the pipe organ, playable from the pipe organ console.
Quality of installation unmatched in the world of digital organs
We can guarantee excellent post-sales support, and our instruments have a quality of installation that is unmatched in the world of digital organs. The organ even comes with a spare complete sound generation cage to avoid any shipping delays in the event of a electrical board or chip component failing.

I have had a passion for church organs since the tender age of 12. I own and run Regent Classic Organs with a close attention to the detail that musicians appreciate; and a clear understanding of the benefits of digital technology and keeping to the traditional and emotional elements of organ playing.
