We are pleased to announce that, yet again, we have arranged for an amazing summer of organ recitals, played on this year on a custom built Regent Classic organ at Selby Abbey. Viscount Classical Organs installed the organ in 2014 as a replacement organ during the rebuild their pipe organ.
Tickets are free, but a retiring collection will be gratefully received. All proceeds will go to the Organ Appeal.
As with last year’s series, this year will feature distinguished cathedral and concert organists from the UK and Europe. This year’s concert series also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Max Reger’s death. So his organ music, much of monumental scale, will feature significantly in the programs of all performers.
The recitals will be at lunchtime (12:30pm) at Selby Abbey and the line up of players and excerpts of their programs are as follows:

Here is a bit more about the amazing musicians which you will be able to hear play if you come along to any of the recitals:
I have had a passion for church organs since the tender age of 12. I own and run Regent Classic Organs with a close attention to the detail that musicians appreciate; and a clear understanding of the benefits of digital technology and keeping to the traditional and emotional elements of organ playing.
