St Mary’s Luddenden 2010
St Mary’s in Luddenden sits in a delightful position in a ‘teacup’ setting at the bottom of a steep valley by the river. It is much loved and has been maintained to a very high standard by the parish.
The church was faced with a large bill to repair their old pipe organ. The sum involved was considered beyond the reach of parish fund raising. This lovely church has retained its pipe organ which no longer plays so perhaps one day the funds will be found for its repair.
St Mary’s were among the first of our clients to order a Regent Classic organ. We installed a custom built 3 manual drawstop digital organ seen here in our showroom prior to delivery. Speakers were placed inside the silent pipe chambers and on top of the chancel screen.
