We were delighted to be commissioned to provide a custom built digital organ for the new concert hall at the London Guildhall School. This is part of the exciting multi-million pound development of extensive new facilities for the school, situated in Silk Street near the Barbican.

The instrument, made in Sapele to match the concert hall joinery, has 46 speaking stops across three manuals. We provided a matching plinth which provides a compartment to house the umbilical cables to connect the instrument to an array of 12 speakers housed in special chambers behind the stage. There are also 2 large bass speakers.

The college has over 800 students from all over the world. The new Milton Court facilities opened on the Autumn of 2014 and our instrument was used in a piece especially commissioned for the event. The Regent Classic organ at Milton Court is magnificent and adds a further dimension of uncompromising quality to our wonderful new concert hall. Only recently it played a starring role in a poignant and moving performance of the Faure Requiem. The Guildhall School is delighted with the organ not only to enhance its own student performances but also to offer a first class instrument to the many international ensembles, soloists and composers now flocking to Milton Court.
