The Cathedral of Our Lady and St Thomas Northampton 2008
The Cathedral of Our Lady and St. Thomas, Northampton was among the first of our customers to order an individually designed instrument. Almost identical to the instrument pictured below, the console sits on the west end gallery.
The pipe organ remains fully operational on the North side of the nave. The Regent Classic organ is used for music that is beyond the scope of the small pipe organ. It also features a chancel division for intimate choir accompaniment.
We believe that this is a good example of how a good digital church organ can complement an older pipe organ that is not always able to adequately support the congregation.
