St Andrews Inverurie Church 2011
St Andrew’s Church underwent a major refurbishment in 2010. We were delighted to have been selected to provide a custom built 3 manual instrument to replace the elderly pipe organ.
Installation took place in December 2011 in awful weather conditions. The church was still in full refurbishment mode, but our first job was to dig an access path through the snow to get the instrument into the building. This alone took 2 hours! The console sits on the west end gallery close to the now silent pipe facade of the old instrument. As you will see from the view into the Chancel from the gallery the refurbishment has provided a modern twist to the old building . You can see video monitors above the doors either side of the chancel arch.
